Man accused of sex crimes arrested in Sumner County

WESTMORELAND, Tenn. (WSMV) – A Westmoreland man is facing multiple charges, including aggravated sexual assault and sexual exploitation of a minor, according to the Sumner County Sheriff's Office.

Jimmy Dana Brown was arrested Friday after a months-long investigation by SCSO deputies.

“Given the serious charges, including aggravated sexual battery, sexual exploitation of a minor and tampering with evidence, this arrest represents a significant step in our commitment to community safety,” SCSO said.
