Tom Holland says Spider-Man 4 will begin filming next summer

Tom Holland's Spider-Man will be back behind the camera in no time.

During an appearance on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” on Tuesday night, Holland confirmed that his fourth “Spider-Man” film is underway – and even has a production start date.

“We’ll start filming next summer. Everything is ready to go – we’re almost there,” said Holland. “Super exciting. I can barely wait for it!”

In Holland's latest Spider-Man film, 2021's “No Way Home,” his superhero teamed up with former Spideys Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield – a big secret that Holland had to keep from Fallon when he made the last one Appeared in the series once. “There’s no doubt that they professionally lied to all of us,” Fallon said. “But I have to say it was worth it.”

Holland called filming with Maguire and Garfield the “highlight of my career” and discussed how they managed to keep the news from fans for so long.

“We were in a bubble,” Holland said. “Tobey and Andrew blended in like a cloak, it was like something out of Star Wars. It was hilarious.”

Holland recently made the press rounds to promote its new non-alcoholic beer, Bero. While on the “Rich Roll” podcast last week, he revealed that he recently read a draft of the “Spider-Man 4” script with his girlfriend and co-star Zendaya and that “it still needs to be worked on, but the “Writers are doing great work.” series.

“I read it three weeks ago and it really lit a fire in me,” Holland said. “Zendaya and I sat down and read it together, and we jumped around the living room at times like it was a real movie that deserved the fans' respect.”
