Brad Paisley on World Series, possibility of going viral by singing the national anthem

Los Angeles, California – Country star Brad Paisley is ready to sing the national anthem in Game 1 of the 2024 World Series.

The Los Angeles Dodgers and New York Yankees face off on Friday night in Southern California. Paisley isn't afraid of his performance, but he does think about the fact that his performance might go viral.

“Most of the time I feel pretty good and I don't get nervous about the things I do,” Paisley told Fox News Digital. “I really just get into the moment, I don't know, maybe I'm stupid. Tonight might be different, but for now I'm fine. I’m just excited to do this.”

“I feel like there's going to be a lot of support, like people are singing along. Something like that, everyone wants to have a good national anthem and a good game. “I’m not the only one out there in this regard,” he continued.

“Oh yeah, you do. You totally think about the possibility of going viral, but anything that goes viral in the national anthem is usually not good,” he began. “The best you can hope for is that you're quickly relegated to the back of YouTube and that there are five home runs tonight.”
