Oxford police are trying to identify a man in an incident at a supermarket

OXFORD – Police are asking for the public's help in identifying a man involved in an incident at a local supermarket.

The Oxford Police Department released a statement Tuesday asking for assistance in identifying a male suspect in connection with an incident at the Cumberland Farms store downtown.

The man is described as having a gray ponytail and riding a bicycle.

No further details about the suspect's appearance or the nature of the incident were released.

Authorities are asking anyone with information to contact Officer White and reference case number 24-607-OF.

The investigation is ongoing and police have not released any further information at this time.
