Lonzo Ball's injury status downgraded for Bulls vs. Bucks

The Chicago Bulls face the Milwaukee Bucks on Friday night in what will be a very strong early test for the Bulls. Unfortunately for Chicago, they will be missing one of their key players in the matchup.

The Chicago Bulls officially listed Lonzo Ball as out against the Milwaukee Bucks on Friday night. Ball has no injuries, his absence will be more of a load management situation as the team will face the Oklahoma City Thunder in back-to-back games.

In Ball's NBA return against the New Orleans Pelicans, he recorded 5 points, 4 assists and 2 rebounds while shooting 50% from the field. Ball only played 13 minutes on his return, but that was to be expected. Bulls fans shouldn't be worried about Ball's limited minutes or his absence on Friday night against the Bucks.

The Chicago Bulls need to add a plethora of guards in Lonzo Ball's absence. If there's one thing the team has too many of, it's guards. Expect a player like Talen Horton-Tucker to play a bigger role on Friday against the Milwaukee Bucks.

The first five games of the season won't go too well for the Chicago Bulls. The first five games are against the New Orleans Pelicans, Milwaukee Bucks, Oklahoma City Thunder, Memphis Grizzlies and Orlando Magic.

The Chicago Bulls and Milwaukee Bucks meet on Friday at 8:00 p.m. EST.
