Man charged with burglary of five stores

Official charges have been filed against a man accused of breaking into five area stores.

According to the Montgomery County District Attorney's Office, 24-year-old Donnell Harris was charged Tuesday with five counts of breaking and entering.

He is accused of breaking into two Clayton stores: Nick's Foodmart on Aug. 25 and VIP Smoke Shop on Sept. 4.

Harris is also alleged to have burglarized three Englewood businesses, including Monkey's Smoke Shop on Sept. 11, VIP Smoke Shop and Verizon Wireless on Sept. 24.

He is currently being held in the Miami County Jail, Englewood police wrote on social media.

Harris' next court date is scheduled for November 5.
