When will the 2024 MLB Awards be announced? MVP, Cy Young, Rookie of the Year and more

Major League Baseball's calendar certainly doesn't end once a World Series champion is crowned.

Sure, that's the most coveted trophy in the game, but there's plenty of other hardware up for grabs, from Gold Gloves to Silver Sluggers to Rookies of the Year to Cy Young and the MVP Awards.

Oct. 28: Roberto Clemente Award presented by Capital One
Before Game 3 of the World Series
Widely considered one of the game's most prestigious honors, the Roberto Clemente Award is presented annually to the player who best represents the game of baseball through exceptional character, community involvement, philanthropy and positive contributions on and off the field.

November 3: Rawlings Gold Glove Awards
8:30 p.m. ET on ESPN
Rawlings will announce the winners of the annual awards for the best defensive player at each position in each league live on ESPN. This year's finalists were announced on October 15th. Immediately thereafter, voting will begin for the Platinum Glove Awards, which will be presented to the best overall defensive player in each league.

November 5: Executive of the Year Award
This award will be announced during the GM meetings, which will be held in San Antonio this year. As with other awards, voting is completed before the start of the postseason, meaning playoff results are not taken into account. Last year's winner was Orioles general manager Mike Elias.

November 8th: Platinum Gloves
The Platinum Glove Awards, an award in each league given to the overall best defensive player, are announced at the Rawlings Gold Glove Dinner in New York City, where Gold Glove Award winners receive their trophies.

November 12: Silver Slugger Awards
Every year since 1980, the best offensive player at every position in every league has been honored with a Silver Slugger Award based on voting by MLB managers and coaches. This is the third year there has been a utility player award category as defensively versatile players become more common. The finalists will be announced on November 4th.

November 14: All-MLB Teams
The All-MLB team was introduced in 2019 to recognize players' contributions throughout the season, as All-Star selection is based on first-half performance. Fans were asked to vote on MLB.com to help select first and second teams at each position (including three outfielders, one DH, five starting pitchers and two relievers) among this year's nominees.

November 14: Hank Aaron Awards
The Hank Aaron Award winners are presented annually to the best overall offensive player in each league and are announced during All-MLB Weekend in Las Vegas. Winners will be determined by a combination of fan voting and a panel of Hall of Famers.

November 14: Rivera/Hoffman Reliever of the Year Awards
Named after Hall of Famers Mariano Rivera and Trevor Hoffman when the award was introduced in 2014, these awards go to each league's top reliever.

November 14: Edgar Martinez outstanding designated hitter
The Outstanding DH Award has been presented since the designated hitter was first adopted by the AL in 1973, and was renamed in 2004 in honor of five-time winner and Hall of Famer Edgar Martinez. Shohei Ohtani has won the award in each of the past three seasons – and is a clear frontrunner to win again in 2024.

November 14: Comeback Player of the Year Award
The Comeback Player of the Year Awards honor a player from each league who has overcome adversity and returned to a high level of performance in the Major Leagues.

Last year, Gunnar Henderson (AL) of Baltimore and Corbin Carroll (NL) of Arizona claimed the hardware.

November 19: BBWAA Manager of the Year Awards
The top manager in each league is honored with this annual award, which is based on the regular season only. Last year the winners were Brandon Hyde (Orioles) in the AL and Skip Schumaker (Marlins) in the NL.

November 20: BBWAA Cy Young Awards
The Cy Young Award has been presented since 1956. From 1956 to 1966 it was awarded to the majors' best overall pitcher, but since 1967 it has been awarded to a pitcher in each league. Last year the award went to Gerrit Cole (AL) and Blake Snell (NL).

This year, Tarik Skubal and Chris Sale each won the pitching Triple Crown in the AL and NL, but will that be enough for them to each take home their first Cy Young Award?

November 21: BBWAA MVP Awards
Shohei Ohtani is considered the leading candidate for his third MVP award in four seasons – albeit his first in the Netherlands. On the AL side, Aaron Judge has likely separated himself from the rest of the team over time, although it remains to be seen how voters will evaluate the field in each league.

November 22: Heart & Hustle Awards
This award is presented by the MLB Players Alumni Association and is voted on by both alumni and active players. It goes to the active player “who demonstrates a passion for the game of baseball and who best embodies the values, spirit and traditions of the game.” Each of the 30 teams has one candidate, and a winner is selected from that group and placed on MLB Network announced.
