It's time for World Supercross! | Vancouver WSX pre-race news break

The 2024 WSX World Championship begins tomorrow in Vancouver, Canada's BC Place, and this is one of the most exciting fields in the series' short history, as reigning world champion Ken Roczen must defend his number one ranking against a hungry Eli Tomac and more. The four-round series will visit three different countries and crown two champions at the finale on December 4 in Abu Dabi.

A new racing format will challenge drivers every step of the way, as the leaders of the WSX (450) and SX2 (250) classes race four times each lap for a total of 40 laps. The WSX and SX2 classes each compete in three motos (two 8-lap races and one 12-lap race) before the top eight riders in each class compete in a 12-lap superfinal. And note: All four races count towards the overall Grand Prix placings in both classes.

We spoke to some of the top contenders at today's media day event at BC Place for this edition of the Yamalube Newsbreak!
