Lily Allen says she makes more money posting pictures of her feet on OnlyFans than her Spotify streams.

Singer Lily Allen has revealed that she makes more money per month from posting pictures of her feet on her OnlyFans account than from her Spotify streams.

The English pop star only opened her OnlyFans account in the summer after a chiropodist told her she had beautiful feet and could make a lot of money selling pictures of them. On an episode of her podcast “Miss Me,” Allen shared that she has a perfect five-star rating on WikiFeet, the foot fetish website that rates pictures of celebrity feet.

When she posted pictures of her feet and a link to her OnlyFans account on the former Twitter, one fan criticized her, saying: “Imagine being one of Europe's biggest pop stars/musicians and then being reduced to that.”

To which Allen replied: “Imagine if you were an artist and had almost 8 million monthly listeners on Spotify, but you would make more money if 1,000 people subscribed to pictures of your feet. Don’t hate the player, hate the game.”

Lily Allen's OnlyFans account costs $10 per month, which, based on her number of subscribers, works out to a hefty $10,000 per month. Compare that to her 7.5 million monthly Spotify listeners, which earn her around $0.003 and $0.005 per stream.

Although OnlyFans is not exclusively a platform for creating sexually charged content, it is, above all, very porn-friendly and has paid over $20 billion to content creators since its debut in 2016.

“Everyone assumes it’s sexy content,” CEO Keily Blair said at the Bloomberg Screentime conference in Los Angeles. “Some of it is sexy content – and we’re very happy with that; We are an inclusive platform, and for good reason.”

“We believe it is very important for adult content creators to have a safe space to make money and to be able to do so alongside other content creators,” Blair added.

Allen, 39, first burst onto the pop music scene in 2005 when she signed with Regal Recordings and released her songs on Myspace. Her first commercial single “Smile” was released in 2006 and reached number 1 in the British singles charts that summer. In 2018 she released her fourth album, No Shame.
