Man is accused of assaulting officers and forcibly touching a teenage girl in Hicksville

Authorities say a Bayville man faces multiple charges stemming from a series of incidents that occurred Friday afternoon in Hicksville.

Police said they responded to reports that an intoxicated man was being aggressive and causing a disturbance at Broadway Mall.

Officers at the scene approached 30-year-old Allan Nunez at 4:30 p.m. He began attacking them and injured an officer while resisting arrest.

According to police, the injured officer was taken to the hospital for treatment.

According to authorities, further investigation also revealed that Nunez inappropriately grabbed and forcibly touched a 15-year-old girl before police arrived.

The charges against him include assault, forcible touching, disorderly conduct, endangering the welfare of a child, obstructing governmental administration, harassment and resisting arrest.
