Urgent action is required due to a leak in the street drainage

I am writing to bring to your attention a critical issue relating to a drainage leak at 1st Cross, Umar Khayam Road, near Landmark: Deaf and Dumb School, Tilak Nagar.

The drainage system on this road has been leaking for many days, causing flooding, road damage and potential hazards to pedestrians and vehicles.

The standing water and excess moisture not only pose immediate safety risks, but also threaten long-term damage to the infrastructure. During rainfall events, this situation is likely to worsen, leading to further problems such as erosion, property damage and public health concerns.

As a concerned resident, I ask your team to assess and resolve the situation as quickly as possible. I trust that the Mysuru City Corporation will deal with this matter promptly to prevent further inconvenience and possible harm.

In addition, I would like to point out that there are no garbage containers on every street, which makes it difficult for residents to dispose of garbage.
