Two people were injured in a crash Friday evening, according to Milwaukee police.

According to police, the accident occurred near St. Paul Ave. on Friday, October 25, at approximately 10:51 p.m. and 26th St.

A vehicle was on St. Paul Ave. was traveling eastbound when it ran a red light and collided with another vehicle, a bus, traveling northbound on 26th St.

According to police, the eastbound vehicle struck a pedestrian.

The pedestrian, an unknown individual, was taken to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The driver of the eastbound vehicle was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The Milwaukee Police Department is investigating.
