Costco has issued a recall on a fan-favorite item – here's what you should know

If you're the main person grocery shopping at your home, you're probably aware of the recent recalls. This month alone, Coca-Cola has recalled more than 13,000 cases of products, frozen waffles have been on the chopping block, and even a popular chocolate snack has been added to the list. While this may have left everyone feeling despondent, Costco is now adding another popular item to the list. And seafood lovers should check their freezers as soon as possible.

In an Oct. 22 notice to members, the wholesale warehouse informed customers that there is a recall for Kirkland Signature Smoked Salmon (Item #1267000). The voluntary recall was initiated by Acme Smoked Fish Corp. manufactured and introduced due to possible contamination Listeria monocytogenes.
