Tottenham fined £20,000 after accepting FA charges over incident in game against West Ham

Tottenham were fined £20,000 after accepting a Football Association charge following a scuffle between their players and West Ham towards the end of Saturday's 4-1 win.

Mohammed Kudus' foul on Micky van de Ven in the 82nd minute sparked a rapprochement and the Hammers attacker was subsequently sent off after shoving both Van de Ven and Pape Sarr in the face.

Spurs and West Ham were accused by the FA on Tuesday of failing to “ensure that their players do not behave inappropriately and/or provocatively”, and the north London club accepted the charges.

“Tottenham Hotspur have been fined £20,000 following their Premier League game against West Ham,” an FA statement said.

“It was alleged that the club had failed to ensure that its players did not behave inappropriately and/or provocatively in the 82nd minute.

“Tottenham admitted this charge and accepted the standard sentence.”
