The first Abu Dhabi Business Week (ADBW) will take place in the “richest city in the world” from December 4th to 6th at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center (ADNEC Center Abu Dhabi).

The motto of the event was “Deliver Value. “Create Impact” reflects the emirate’s economic growth and commitment to fostering a business-friendly environment.

This week, more than 150 speakers and 8,000 policymakers, executives, international investors and entrepreneurs will explore new opportunities, forge strategic partnerships and advance sustainable economic development.

Abu Dhabi was recently named the world's richest city, boasting $1.7 trillion in sovereign wealth funds. In addition, it has the highest credit rating of nationals in the Gulf Cooperation Council, offering investors unparalleled access to finance and growth opportunities. The emirate also ranked first in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region for ease of doing business.

Reflecting Abu Dhabi's commitment to fostering a thriving business environment, ADBW offers participants the opportunity to explore new markets and gain valuable insight into the trends and strategies shaping the future of the rapidly growing 'capital of capital'.

ADBW will focus on strategies to strengthen businesses and cultivate an ecosystem characterized by increased collaboration between the public and private sectors, driving growth and diversification.

Ahmed Jasim Al Zaabi, Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ADCCI), said: “Supported by our multi-dimensional sustainable development strategies and a focus on new, high-growth sectors, Abu Dhabi's business-friendly ecosystem offers promising opportunities for investors, companies and talent should thrive and expand on a global scale. These strategies are boosting the non-oil sectors, which now account for over 55 percent of Abu Dhabi's GDP after growing 6.6 percent in the second quarter of 2024. Over the past decade, business licensing has increased by a remarkable 196 percent, reflecting the supportive economic landscape Abu Dhabi underlines.”

The first edition of the event will host ten specialist sessions, including the Abu Dhabi Business Forum, which will cover key topics such as global investment dynamics in Abu Dhabi, business clusters, regulations and public-private partnerships.

Other events offer participants a deeper insight into topics such as innovation, procurement, women's empowerment, family businesses, youth and entrepreneurship.

The ADBW is under the patronage of Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, and is run by the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ADCCI) in collaboration with the Abu Dhabi Department of aligned Economic Development (ADDED) and Abu Dhabi Investment Office (ADIO).
