Texas A&M's all-black threads lead the Week 9 college football jerseys

A Top 15 matchup means special uniforms in Week 9 of the college football season.

The No. 14 Texas A&M Aggies face the No. 8 LSU Tigers in a battle of 6-1 teams at Kyle Field. The Aggies will take the field in style, wearing their all-black uniforms with “Aggies” written on the helmet. It will be the first time since 2015 that Texas A&M will wear all black.

LSU will combat the uniform with an icy, all-white look.

Here are the best college football jerseys from Week 9.

Unique combinations

The newly ranked No. 1 Oregon Ducks will face the No. 20 Illinois Fighting Illini at home on Saturday in their usual lineup. They will wear the helmet and uniform of their “Heroes” uniform, which debuted in Week 6. But there's a twist: The Ducks complete them with dark pants instead of yellow.

The Oregon State Beavers may be struggling on the field, but their uniform isn't missing this week. Oregon State has a clear outlook ahead of its matchup against the California Golden Bears.

Dark mode

The Aggies aren't the only team playing all-black this week. The No. 6 Miami Hurricanes have a sweet monochromatic combination against the Florida State Seminoles.

setbacks

Homecomings across the country mean the setbacks are coming to light.

The Minnesota Golden Gophers don a classic style white helmet against the Maryland Terrapins. Minnesota wore the helmets in the 1960s.

Four straight losses have blighted the North Carolina Tar Heels' season, but this week they're turning heads with clean sweeps.

It's a big matchup this week with the No. 11 BYU Cougars and the UCF Knights have gone for a throwback look. The Knights' all-black combo includes a classic '90s helmet.

Helmet warmth

The TCU Horned Frogs rarely miss with their helmets and this week is no exception. After a white look last week, TCU is bringing back its purple lids.

The No. 18 Ole Miss Rebels shake up their traditional look with the debut of a clean helmet against the Oklahoma Sooners.
