Jack Flaherty of the Dodgers: Struggling with hamstring problems

Manager Dave Roberts said Saturday that Flaherty was ruled out of his start in Game 1 of the World Series on Friday because of a hamstring strain, The Athletic's Fabian Ardaya reports.

Just before he hit the throw that Giancarlo Stanton carried 412 feet to left field in the sixth inning, Flaherty's hamstring began to ache. While Flaherty's injury was enough to force him out of the game after 90 pitches, the Dodgers don't believe it will affect his availability for the rest of the series, making him eligible to start a possible fifth game.
