Arcane's Future After Season 2 Confirmed by Co-Creator, Despite Upcoming Series Finale: “Just The First One”

Just weeks before the second season debuted, a Arcane Co-creator talks about the future of the franchise. Before the series aired, the creative team faced challenges in conceptualizing the project, as documented in the YouTube documentary series Arcane: Bridging the Gap. Their hard work was rewarded with praise from critics that newcomers were unfamiliar with League of Legendsand brought relief to fans of the game as it earned a perfect Rotten Tomatoes rating of 100% from critics and 96% from viewers. Nevertheless, it was confirmed Arcane Season 2 is set to conclude the animated series after its premiere on November 9th.

In conversation with Screen rantCo-creator Christian Linke shared details about the future behind it Arcane Season 2. Absolutely. Arcane is just the first. We're working on a number of new projects, a number of new stories from the different regions and characters of our IP, and some of them are actually continuations of Arcane's character stories. So there are definitely some character stories that we want to continue. So Arcane is really the first. This is the first rite that we had to survive and figure out, “Can we do this?” And now we can kind of dream bigger, which is really great.

What this means for the future beyond Arcane Season 2
