The surprise guest at Taylor Swift's New Orleans concert was… drumroll… Sabrina Carpenter

The next stop on Taylor Swift's Eras Tour was New Orleans on Saturday evening, where she surprised all concert goers with her guest. Taylor also introduced a new twist when announcing the surprise. The singer told the stadium filled with fans that she would not sing one of her songs, but that of her guest. โ€œIt got stuck in my head,โ€ Taylor announced as the audience waited and began playing the notes espresso by Sabrina Carpenter on her guitar, much to the delight of the 65,000 concertgoers.

Taylor began her introduction with, “I think tonight I'm going to do something completely different, which is sing a song that's not mine, but it's someone I really love.” After singing a few lines, she added adding: โ€œSo you really love this song as much as I do? I know I'm just on the sidelines because I love my friend and I'm just so proud of Sabrina and the year she's had.”

โ€œThis year she absolutely took off. There are no tickets for her tour. Her album is constantly #1. I know she would really like to know how loud you sang that song. Is it okay if I call her? Taylor continued before inviting Sabrina on stage with him.

After a short performance, Sabrina joined Taylor on stage and the singing duo performed Is it over now? And Please, please, please from Carpenter's album as fans cheered.

Taylor ended her performance by thanking Sabrina for joining her. โ€œShe literally had a day off. “She's on tour.” It's crazy that she came to perform for us. โ€œWill you please give it up for Sabrina Carpenter?โ€ the Blank Space singer announced before Sabrina left the stage.

Taylor Swift will next perform on December 8th in Vancouver, Canada.
