Kline arrested after disturbance at Village Pantry – Peak of Ohio

On Tuesday, Logan County sheriff's deputies arrested 33-year-old Chrystyan Kline of Bellefontaine after a series of events that began with a traffic stop on US 33.

Officers stopped Kline for driving without a valid license and arranged for him to wait for a ride at the Village Pantry gas station.

However, Kline soon caused a disturbance in the store, prompting employees to call the police.

Upon arrival, officers found Kline at the entrance.

Despite his claim that he was just waiting for a ride, employees reported that he yelled and caused a scene, prompting multiple requests for him to leave.

Kline was asked to step outside to speak with officers but refused to comply.

He showed signs of intoxication, including red, bloodshot eyes and the smell of alcoholic beverages.

When told he was under arrest for disorderly conduct, Kline resisted and forced officers to handcuff him.

While being transported to the Logan County Jail, Kline continued to make threats and use profanity.

After arriving, he attempted to kick an officer during the booking process, which resulted in him being placed in a restraint chair for safety reasons.

Kline faces multiple charges, including aggravated threats, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.
