Tank Bigsby Appears is set for another start

Bigsby is expected to serve as the Jaguars' lead option out of the backcourt on Sunday against the Packers, with Travis Etienne (hamstring injury) listed as questionable for the contest but considered out of contention, sources tell NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

While Bigsby served as Etienne's backup in the Jaguars' first six games, he excelled in a supporting role, as the second-year defensive back averaged 7.2 yards on his 41 carries during that time. He continued to excel and saw his biggest workload ever in the Jaguars' Week 7 win over the Patriots in London, catching 26 balls for 118 yards and two touchdowns. With Etienne tending to be absent again, Bigsby could expect another big touchdown, although the Jaguars' reluctance to use him on passing downs makes Bigsby a little sensitive to the script. If the 2-5 Jaguars fall behind by several points early against the 5-2 Packers and deprioritize the running game, Bigsby – who has only tied for two goals all season – could give up significant playing time to D'. Ernest Johnson.
