The Kansas City Chiefs are finalizing terms to acquire wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins from the Tennessee Titans, according to multiple reports.

Hopkins, 32, is no longer the player he once was, but he is still a big, physical receiver who could prove to be a red zone threat to quarterback Patrick Mahomes. Last season, he totaled 75 receptions for 1,057 yards and seven touchdowns.

The Denver Broncos will now face Hopkins in Week 10 on the road and Week 18 at home. In five career games against the Broncos, Hopkins recorded 30 receptions for 329 yards and two touchdowns.

In six games with the Titans this season, Hopkins totaled 15 receptions for 173 yards and a score. A five-time Pro Bowler and five-time All-Pro, Hopkins was considered one of the NFL's best receivers in his prime.

“Nuk” will join a Chiefs wide receiver room that includes Skyy Moore, Xavier Worthy, JuJu Smith-Schuster, Mecole Hardman and Justin Watson.

The NFL trade deadline is Tuesday, November 5th. Stay tuned as further steps may follow.
