Before the game

Good afternoon, everyone! My name is Evan and I will be doing the live updates for today's game.

The 5-2 Buffalo Bills are away at the Seattle Seahawks, who are 4-3. This Week 8 matchup features two quarterbacks known for slinging the ball. Geno Smith is currently leading the NFL in total passing yards this week, while Josh Allen is leading the league in QBR.

Both teams suffered serious injuries to key players last week. The Bills placed DT DeWayne Carter on injured reserve on Friday, while the Seahawks will be without starting receiver DK Metcalf. The Bills will also be without WR Curtis Samuel.

With both teams having strong offenses, this game will certainly come down to who can get the most stops. Both teams are currently at the top of their divisions and are therefore hungry for a win.

Tonight's game also marks the first time Tom Brady has covered a Bills game since his visit to the FOX broadcast booth.
