CHARLOTTE, NC – Carolina Panthers quarterback Andy Dalton and his family were in a car accident on Tuesday.

The team said the 36-year-old quarterback would be evaluated by team personnel, but no further information was provided.

The Panthers said Dalton, his wife, three children and the family dog ​​were near downtown Charlotte at the time of the accident. Nobody was taken to a hospital.

It is unclear what happened and whether another vehicle was involved. The Panthers have not released any further information.
