George Kittle, Deebo Samuel Sr. Active against Cowboys; Inactive for #DALvsSF

San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Deebo Samuel Sr. and tight end George Kittle are both on “Sunday Night Football” against the Dallas Cowboys. Both were in doubt as to whether they would play over the weekend, with Kittle still dealing with a sprained ankle and Samuel Sr. recovering from pneumonia that had sent him to the hospital earlier in the week. Last week, Samuel Sr. managed to play just three snaps before leaving the game, so San Francisco's availability of its wideback gives the team an additional weapon in the backfield and passing game. They will also rely on Chris Conley and young receivers – Ricky Pearsall, Jacob Cowing and Ronnie Bell – to replace Jauan Jennings (hip) and Brandon Aiyuk (ACL, MCL), who are out due to injury.

On the defensive side of the ball, defensive back Deommodore Lenoir, who was injured late, is active for Sunday's showdown despite coming down with an illness on Friday.
