Is it finally time to abolish daylight saving time? “Metro Detroiters” plays

Daylight saving time was introduced as part of energy conservation efforts during World War I. She encouraged people to stay outside longer and thus use less electricity. But once it came, it never went away. Daylight saving time ends on Sunday, November 3rd and we fall back. That means earlier sunsets and more time in the dark. Now people say they are ready to say goodbye.
