Pleasant temperatures, slight warm-up phase in progress

Monday was a pleasant start to the work week with mild temperatures and mostly sunny skies. Offshore winds will ensure skies will be largely clear on Tuesday, with some areas of low cloud and dense fog clearing by the afternoon.

A short-lived mini warmup is on the agenda for the next few days. A ridge of high pressure is forming over the area, causing our temperatures to rise to above average levels. Tuesday serves as a transition day before the heat reaches its peak on Wednesday. Temperatures in coastal areas will be in the 60s to 70s on Tuesday, while inland temperatures will again be in the mid to low 80s. Overnight lows inland will be in the 40s, while coastal areas will see mostly 50s.

As we approach the weekend, temperatures will slowly cool down, but drastic changes are not expected. The overall working week looks pleasant and there are very minor day-to-day changes in the forecast.
