Jennifer Aniston pays tribute to Matthew Perry on the anniversary of his death

Jennifer Aniston remembered her Friends Co-star Matthew Perry today on the first anniversary of his death.

In a simple Instagram message, Aniston wrote, “1 year,” along with the heart and dove emoji used to remember those who have died. The post references the Matthew Perry Foundation, the nonprofit organization founded in his name to help people struggling with addiction.

Aniston's message was accompanied by a series of four photos, the first being a black-and-white snap of her and Perry on camera during the heist. The second picture shows Perry kissing Aniston on the forehead on the set of Central Perk Friends.

The third photo shows them Friends The cast — Perry, Aniston, Lisa Kudrow, David Schwimmer, Matt LeBlanc and Courteney Cox — huddle in a circle, probably just as they're about to take the stage.

Finally, the last photo shows a laughing Perry.

Perry, 54, was found dead in a hot tub at his Los Angeles home on October 28, 2023. The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner's Office determined he died from the acute effects of ketamine.
