Giants OT presents Steelers star TJ Watt with clear challenge: 'I want to be on an island'

TJ Watt is the catalyst for the Pittsburgh Steelers' pass rush, but Giants right tackle Jermaine Eluemunor isn't intimidated by Watt. Eluemunor has faced Watt three times and has experience with him, but in this game he hopes to rise to the challenge with confidence.

In fact, Eluemunor, who is questionable about playing due to a groin injury, said he would like to stay on an island with Watt, without help at his side.

“I’m the most confident guy in this locker room,” Eluemunor said. “I think you can see that in my play this year. I want to be on an island with him all day.”

After the Giants lost starting left tackle Andrew Thomas to a serious foot injury this season, Eluemunor has been left on an island in recent weeks. With an inexperienced left tackle, that's what happened, but since Watt has seen so many chips throughout his career, it seems unlikely that will happen this week.

However, if that is the case, Watt should have a significant impact on the game for the Steelers. He had two sacks against Eluemunor last season when they faced off, and Watt is in for a big game.
