Eiza González, Taylour Paige, Poppy Liu and Will Poulter accompany Boots Riley's “I Love Boosters” for NEON

Award-winning studio NEON announced today that Eiza González (Baby driver), Poppy Liu (Hacks), Taylor Paige (Zola) and Will Poulter (The bear) have joined the cast of Boots Riley's highly anticipated next feature film I love boosters.

The quartet of actors join the previously announced Keke Palmer (No), Naomi Ackie (Blink twice), LaKeith Stanfield (Judas and the Black Messiah) and Demi Moore (The substance).

Principal photography is scheduled to begin in the fall. Aaron Ryder and Andrew Swett will produce on behalf of their Ryder Picture Company (RPC) with Allison Rose Carter and Jon Read of Savage Rose Films as part of their production and development partnership with NEON. Executive producers include Mike Jackman, Gus Deardoff, Ken Kao and Josh Rosenbaum for Waypoint Entertainment, Megan Ellison for Annapurna and NEON. NEON is co-financing the film with Waypoint Entertainment and will release the film theatrically in the US and handle international distribution.

I love boosters is about a ring of enterprising supporters (aka shoplifters, equal opportunity) who target a murderous fashionista. Further plot details are currently being kept secret. The Below-the-Line Team includes a score from Tune-Yards (Tomboy), cinematography by Natasha Braier (The Neon Demon), edited by Matthew Hannam (The Iron Claw) and production design by Christopher Glass (The Jungle Book).

Poulter is an English actor who became known for his role in the 2013 film We are the Millersin which he plays the main role The labyrinth runner Film trilogy, Alejandro G. Iñárritus The revenant, Black Mirror: Bandersnatchand Ari Asters Midsummer. He also starred in Hulu's Stupid in 2021 and FX's The bear He was nominated for Primetime Emmy Awards for both.
