James Moore was arrested following a road rage incident in Lincoln County

LINCOLN COUNTY, Tenn. (WAFF) – A Lincoln County man has been arrested following multiple reports of road violence in the county.

The Lincoln County Sheriff's Office said it received the reports between Oct. 18 and Oct. 21.

An investigation led officers to 45-year-old James Moore, also suspected of being involved in a recent traffic accident in Madison County.

Moore was arrested in Lincoln County on two counts of vandalism, two counts of aggravated assault, unlawful possession of a weapon and disorderly conduct.

When Moore was booked into the Lincoln County Jail, officers said they found him in possession of contraband, which led to an additional charge of possession of contraband in a penal institution.
