'Everyone is worried': New fears for grieving Nicole Kidman after viral video attacking Australian actress Salma Hayek

Nicole Kidman's family and friends have reportedly expressed concern for the Australian Oscar winner following the death of her mother Janelle Kidman.

The beloved Kidman family matriarch died aged 84 after a long illness in September, prompting Nicole to cancel an appearance at the Venice Film Festival and return to Sydney to mourn with her sister Antonia.

Nicole and Antonia's father, Dr. Antony Kidman, died exactly a decade before his wife, after succumbing to a heart attack in Singapore in 2014 at the age of 75.

An unnamed source close to the Australian Oscar winner told Woman's Day magazine that Kidman is “throwing herself into work” amid her grief.

“Nicole still looks as great as ever, but she's been through so much and she seems to be dealing with her grief by throwing herself into work,” the source said.

After Janelle's death, Kidman took a brief break to promote her new film “Babygirl” and Netflix series “The Perfect Couple,” but the 57-year-old quickly resumed a busy schedule of engagements around the world.

“There are times when she sleeps more on the plane than in bed,” the source said.

“Everyone is worried about her.”

The same month that Janelle died, Kidman flew to Paris to attend the prestigious Balenciaga show during Paris Fashion Week, which was likely a contractual obligation since Nicole serves as the luxury brand's ambassador.

Fans captured a tense moment between Kidman and fellow actress Salma Hayek in the front row as Kidman appeared to nervously pull Hayek's arm away as they posed for photos.

The Expats star was also in Paris to support her daughter Sunday Rose Kidman Urban after the rising modeling star made her runway debut during the Miu Miu show.

Kidman, her husband Keith Urban and their two daughters Sunday Rose and Faith Margaret returned to Sydney again earlier this month for Janelle's funeral, before Kidman flew to Los Angeles for the Academy Museum Gala days later.

On Wednesday, the movie star wowed on the red carpet at the premiere of the second season of her Paramount series “Lioness” in Los Angeles and spoke for the first time about the loss of her mother.

“I wish my mom was here,” she told The Hollywood Reporter on the red carpet.

“That would be the only thing I would say.

“Everything is going great at work, but I wish my mom was here.”
