Man suspected of killing girlfriend behind bars in Costa Mesa

A 49-year-old man suspected of killing his girlfriend and dumping her body in a trash can at his Costa Mesa home was behind bars Wednesday.

According to Costa Mesa police, Daniel Allen Aldrich was arrested Tuesday evening at a relative's home in the 3700 block of El Lado Drive in Glendale.

He is suspected in the death of his girlfriend, 38-year-old Julie Anne Sanetra of Irvine.
