Shawn Mendes talks sexuality at Colorado concert

Shawn Mendes has long been the subject of gay speculation, not because there are rumors about him dating men, but because he gets a little fruitier while doing it. It's hard to hear someone say, “There's Cher” and not get a response that's essentially “Sister!” We're not proud of that! Mendes expressed concern about the topic of his sexuality during an Oct. 28 show at Red Rocks Amphitheater in Colorado. First, he told the room that becoming famous at 15 caused him to stop developing in the ways that 15-year-olds usually do. “The real truth about my life and my sexuality is that I'm just figuring it out like everyone else,” he said, adding, “Sometimes I don't really know, but sometimes I do.” It feels really scary, because we live in a society that has a lot to say about that.” Well, Mr. Mendes, know that when you become a card-carrying member, your ability to desire fits well with the LGBTQ+ community.
