1 dead in Chandler entrapment accident

CHANDLER, Texas (KLTV) – One person is dead in a crash Monday night in Chandler.

According to Chandler VFD, emergency crews were dispatched to an address on SH 31 at approximately 8:03 p.m. Monday. Upon arrival, they discovered a serious two-vehicle collision resulting in entrapment. According to the authorities, the trapped occupant was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident after being rescued.

Chandler Chief 1, Engines One and Three and a total of six Chandler VFD personnel were on scene alongside UT Health EMS.

The occupants of the other vehicle were taken to a nearby hospital in unknown condition.
