Liam Payne's first posthumous single, released less than three weeks after his death

Liam Payne's first posthumous single will be released on Friday, less than three weeks after the singer's death, the song's producer announced.

“Do No Wrong” will be released in Argentina on October 16, following Payne’s sudden death.

“I pray this will be a blessing to the world that Liam has always dreamed of. I pray that angels comfort you all as you listen every day,” producer Sam Pounds wrote in a post on Monday announcing the single’s release on X.

“I pray that this song will be a blessing to Ruth, Bear and the entire family,” he said, referring to Payne's sister Ruth Gibbins and his seven-year-old son Bear.

Pounds continued: “I pray that this song outshines the negative echoes. I pray that supernatural positive healing powers encompass each and every one of you.”

He concluded his post by urging his followers to “be the blessing.”

Payne was found dead after falling from his third-floor balcony at a hotel in Argentina, shortly after a hotel receptionist called 911 to report that a distraught guest, high on alcohol and drugs, was “doing the whole thing.” Destroyed the room.”

An autopsy found that Payne had 25 injuries “consistent with those of a fall from height” and that his cause of death was “polytraumatism, internal and external bleeding,” Argentine prosecutors said. He was 31 years old.

Initial toxicology results reportedly found the drug cocktail “pink cocaine” in his body.

Payne first rose to fame in 2010 as a member of boy band One Direction – alongside Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson – after being discovered on reality TV show The X Factor.

After the band went on hiatus in 2016, Payne released his first solo single “Strip That Down” with Quavo, which reached No. 10 on the Billboard Hot 100. He later released a solo album, “LP1,” which debuted at No. 1. 1 on the Billboard Heatseekers Albums chart in December 2019.
