2 injured after multi-vehicle crash on Highway 30 in College Station

COLLEGE STATION, Texas (KBTX) – Two people were hospitalized after a three-vehicle crash on Highway 30 in College Station.

It happened just before 7 a.m. near Bird Pond Road.

According to Sergeant Justin Ruiz with the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS), the driver of a Chevy Camaro was traveling east on Highway 30 when he attempted to make a left turn into a private driveway. The driver of a Volkswagen Beetle crashed into the rear of the Camero.

Sergeant. Ruiz told KBTX that the impact of the crash caused the Camaro to move into the westbound lane. There it was struck by a Jeep SUV traveling west.

The Jeep rolled onto its side.

The drivers of the Camaro and Jeep were taken to St. Joseph Hospital in Bryan with minor injuries.
