The guests go into the competition with a 1-0 win Alaves on Saturday and moved up to ninth place La Liga tablewhile Villamuriel recorded a 5-0 win over Rayo Abulense in their last game in Spain's sixth division.

Rayo will rest a number of key players on Tuesday, but we find it incredibly difficult to predict anything other than a comfortable win for the La Liga team, who look set to have far too much quality all over the pitch.

La Liga side Alaves are aiming for a place in the second round of the 2024-25 Copa del Rey when they join the fourth division club Compostela on Tuesday evening.

Alaves will enter the game following a 1-0 defeat against Rayo Vallecano, which left them in 16th place La Liga tablewhile Compostela drew 0-0 against Real Aviles in the Segunda RFEF on Saturday.

We say: Compostela 0-2 Alaves

Alaves were beaten by a fourth-tier side at this stage of the 2019-20 competition, but we can hardly expect a defeat for the La Liga team here, even taking into account the problems in Spain's top flight.

Real Valladolid The aim is to avoid a surprise exit in the first round of the Copa del Rey when they face the sixth division side Astur on Tuesday evening.

The guests go into the game with a 1:2 home defeat Villarrealwhich earned them 19th place in the rankings La Liga tablewhile Astur drew 3-3 against Union Comercial in the sixth division on Saturday.

We say: Astur 0-2 Real Valladolid

Astur is currently not used to losing football matches while Real Valladolid is struggling to get positive results. In terms of the result, it could be a close game on Tuesday evening, but we would be amazed if Real Valladolid were not the team to progress to the second round at the end of the game.

The Yellow Submarine go into the game after a 2-1 win over Real Valladolid and are in third place in the table La Liga tablewhile Poblense beat Portmany 2-1 in the fifth division on Saturday.

We say: Poblense 0-4 Villarreal

Villarreal have scored a lot of goals this season and that should be the case again on Tuesday evening. Yellow Submarine head coach Marcelino will have a number of key players sidelined but the La Liga side are likely to have far too much quality for their opponents.
