Melania Trump says her husband is 'not Hitler' and calls rhetoric used against him 'terrible'

Former first lady Melania Trump told “Fox & Friends” on Tuesday that her husband is “not Hitler” and described the rhetoric used against him in the final week of the election season as “horrible.”

“And all his supporters are behind him because they want to see the country [be] successful,” she added.

Melania Trump said the election cycle is “different” and “much more dangerous,” this time with two assassination attempts against Donald Trump.

“I am very alert and very selective about where I go and what I do. Because you never know,” she said. “It’s dangerous out there.”

Melania says she always told former President Trump “good luck and be safe” during the campaign.

“You never know what kind of call you will receive and what can happen in life. Right? Life is fragile and we have to enjoy it every day,” she added.

The former first lady told “Fox & Friends” that the support she sees for Donald Trump “is incredible and people see what's going on in the country and what kind of leadership they want.”

“They want prosperity. They want the American dream to come back. We will decide on this on November 5th,” she said.

When asked if she would like to be first lady again, Melania Trump replied: “I'm not afraid because this time is different.

“I have a lot more experience, a lot more knowledge. I’ve been to the White House before, so when you walk in you know exactly what to expect.”
