Everything you need to know about Game 4 of the World Series

The Los Angeles Dodgers will play at Yankee Stadium for a 3-0 win in the best-of-seven World Series. Game 4 of the World Series will be played Tuesday at 8:08 p.m. ET on Fox.

Walker Buehler's dominant start proves why he is still the best big-game pitcher in the game

In a high-pressure World Series game in enemy territory in the Bronx, most pitchers would wilt like a flower cut off by water. But Walker Buehler isn't like most pitchers.

When it comes to big games in the playoffs, Buehler turns into an October maestro, and his dominance on the mound is his Beethoven 9th Symphony. Buehler delivered another tour de force performance Saturday, giving the Dodgers a commanding 3-0 lead in the World Series and putting his team on the brink of the eighth championship in franchise history.

For most of the evening, the sellout crowd at Yankee Stadium sat in awe of how effortlessly Buehler slaughtered the best offense in baseball. Dodgers manager Dave Roberts was one of them.

“Walker was fantastic,” Roberts said. “His stuff was as good as it’s been all year. This is the most confident I’ve ever seen him.”

Freddie Freeman is setting records with his home runs

When told he had set a World Series record for home runs in five consecutive games, Freddie Freeman grinned.

“We hope there will be six,” he said.

Freeman gave Los Angeles the lead with a two-run homer off Clarke Schmidt 15 pitches out, and the Dodgers beat the Yankees 4-2 last night to take a 3-0 lead in the World Series.

He matched the mark set by George Springer in Games 4 through 7 in 2017, when the Houston Astros beat the Dodgers for the title, and then scored again in the 2019 opener against Washington.

Freeman scored in Atlanta's last two games against Houston in the 2021 World Series, and in this game he scored in all three games. He became the third player to hit a home run in the first three games of a World Series, joining Hank Bauer in 1958 and Barry Bonds in 2002.
