Mankato police are asking for help identifying the person involved in the murder of 27-year-old Buay Juk

MANKATO, Minn. – Mankato police hope a reward will help them solve the murder of a 27-year-old man a year ago.

In a video posted to YouTube on Monday, Cmdr. Chris Baukol says Someone shot Buay Juk on Balcerzak Drive just after midnight on October 28, 2023.

At that time, a witness told police he saw a man running from the scene after shots were fired.

Investigators shared surveillance video that shows the man they believe is a person of interest in this case.

Juk's family says he was “father, son, brother and uncle” and that his murder turned their lives “upside down.”

Police are offering a $15,000 reward for information leading to an arrest.
