Rogers man accused of kidnapping Mississippi teenagers

BENTONVILLE – A Rogers man was arrested Monday in connection with the kidnapping of a 16-year-old boy, according to Arkansas State Police.

Kaleb James Cannady, 33, was being held Tuesday in the Benton County Jail with no bond set. He was arrested in connection with online recruiting and kidnapping.

State police troopers found the teenager unharmed inside Cannady's home, according to a state police news release. The teen was reported missing Sunday from Brandon, Miss.

Cannady was being held on a warrant out of Mississippi.

The Rankin County Sheriff's Department received information that the teen had been lured online, and the Mississippi Bureau of Investigation and the Mississippi State Attorney's Office identified Cannady as a suspect, according to the news release.
