LISA becomes a substitute teacher and makes a “Rockstar” video with students

How was school today? Children at a Brooklyn elementary school were able to tell their parents that they had a substitute teacher—one who actually made them work. BLACKPINK's LISA showed up at PS 282 and spent the day teaching a group of students some “rockstar” moves.

LISA's daytime lessons are featured in a new video uploaded to YouTube on Tuesday (October 29), part of the series Celebrity replacementin which a prominent guest takes over the classroom in each episode.

Although the “Moonlit Floor” singer says in the clip that she has never performed with children before – and these children seem a little worried about resuming her choreography in a day – Ms. Lisa accepts the challenge with a smile .

“If you want to be in a group, you have to look like a group,” explains the new sub, and the kids rummage through the wardrobe until their look is just right for their debut as “Lisa’s group.”

The next step: learning the “Rockstar” dance. LISA performs a short section of the choreo perfectly. The students stare at her blankly.

“That looks hard,” one child remarked.

LISA takes this as a lesson to break it down into simpler parts for the kids, and at the end of the school day, these students star alongside the pop star in a sweet, one-minute music video. As a bonus, their real teacher gets a wonderful surprise for their classroom.
