In the motion, Anthony asked the court to order Ayesha and the child to undergo DNA testing by a neutral and licensed laboratory.

Anthony's lawyer filed the motion on October 15, apparently the day after Ayesha's daughter was born. The NBA star's legal team noted that Ayesha had not yet been served with the paperwork.

On Tuesday, October 22, Ayesha posted a series of photos showing her baby bump and ultrasound photo. She wrote “Golden Girls” and ended her caption with “10/14,” which many believe to be the child's birth date.

Ayesha’s friends commented: “Ayesha!!!!!!! You did that darling!!!!” Another wrote: “Dear precious babygirl…we've been calling you into being for years.”

Last month, Anthony filed a petition for paternity and child support. He said both parties are Georgia residents. He said it was just a child and that it was illegitimate.

Initially, Anthony's lawyers requested that genetic testing be carried out. “[Anthony] is entitled to an order requiring the parties to undergo genetic testing. If a genetic test shows that the [Anthony] is the father, [Anthony] seeks an order establishing the paternity of the minor child,” his petition reads.

His lawyer continued: “[Anthony] knows no other natural or legal person, not a party to this case, who has custody of the minor child or claims custody or visitation rights with respect to the minor child. Further, [Anthony] has never participated as a party or witness or in any other capacity in any other litigation involving the custody or visitation of the minor child in this or any other state.”

Anthony's lawsuit requested that genetic testing be conducted and that he be legally declared the father if the test revealed he was the father.

He also requested that the court set child support based on state guidelines. A hearing is scheduled for November 13th.

In 2023, Anthony signed a maximum five-year contract extension that could see him earn $260 million ESPN.

Ayesha has yet to comment on Anthony's lawsuit demanding a DNA test.
