Driver killed in Mack truck accident

PITTSYLVANIA COUNTY, Va. (WDBJ) – The driver of a Mack truck was killed in a crash in Pittsylvania County on Monday, according to Virginia State Police.

According to police, Samuel Lawrence Wright, 69, of Bedford, died at the scene of the crash on Route 626, a tenth of a mile south of Lumpkin Road.

According to police, Wright went off the right side of the road, overcorrected the center line and overturned.
