Toledo man accused of masturbating in Anthony Wayne High School parking lot faces new sex crime charges

TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) – A Toledo man accused of masturbating twice in the Anthony Wayne High School parking lot last year was back in court Tuesday. Now Theodore Wilson faces different but similarly disturbing charges. They are the latest in a series of obscene acts he has been accused of.

Wilson's latest charges came after he allegedly broke into a woman's White House home in August, touched her as she slept and stole her underwear.

“He was moaning and making sex noises,” the victim, who remains anonymous, can be heard saying in Whitehouse police body camera footage of the incident. “I only had a sheet on and he touched the top of my vagina, which was one of the reasons I woke up.”

According to the police report, the victim was wearing an eye mask and was initially unable to see Wilson. He allegedly touched her twice before she pretended to wake up, and Wilson fled.

After hearing the victim's account, Whitehouse police quickly identified Wilson as a suspect.

“I think about the person I had last year. I think he might be out. “Remember when we were in school,” an officer said in body camera footage.

Last year, Wilson was found guilty of two counts of public indecency and sexual conduct in the presence of minors and public indecency and public sexual conduct or masturbation.

He was also accused of masturbating in the parking lot of Anthony Wayne High School in the presence of a minor last summer. This charge was ultimately dismissed; The Lucas County District Attorney's Office said that was because Wilson was already incarcerated at the time and prosecutors would not have been able to secure a speedy trial. Prosecutors may decide to refile these charges against Wilson.

When the charges were dismissed, Wilson served an 11-month prison sentence for airdropping an image of a penis to a minor.

His latest charges come just three months after his release.

On Tuesday, Wilson's trial was postponed until January. Wilson is now being held in the Lucas County Jail because of the risk of re-offending.
