Christian Pulisic's outstanding season for AC Milan continued on Tuesday as the American midfielder scored an Olimpico goal in the Champions League match.

In the 34th minute of Milan's game against Belgian side Club Brugge, Pulisic's stunning corner kick shot past several players and straight into the goal. The result gave Milan an early 1-0 lead over Bruges.

The Olimpico marks Pulisic's seventh goal of the season for Milan in just eleven games across all competitions. He also has three assists, tied for first on the team.

Shortly after Pulisic's goal, Brugge midfielder Raphael Onyedika was sent off with a red card after a tackle. The extra man and Pulisic's point gave Milan an advantage early in the second half.

Kyriani Sabbe scored for Brugge in the 50th minute and kept the game alive. But Milan midfielder Tijjani Reijnders scored two more goals and gave Milan a 3-1 win.

Pulisic's skillful and somewhat unconventional goal comes at an odd time for the American star, who helped lead the USMNT and new head coach Mauricio Pochettino to a victory last weekend but left the US camp early to return to his club . Without their star, the USMNT lost 2-0 to Mexico; Pulisic, meanwhile, helped Milan to a tough 1-0 win over Udinese on October 19 and now plays a key role for the team in the UCL.

Heading into this clash, Milan sit fourth in the Serie A table, having won four of their last five games. The team was 0-2 in the Champions League before Tuesday's game; Brugge was 1-1.
