A motorcycle accident causes traffic delays near Eastland Mall

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) – A collision between a motorcycle and a truck caused major traffic delays for motorists on Green River Road near Eastland Mall.

According to dispatch, they received a call about a crash with injuries at the intersection of N. Green River Road and Virginia just before 7 p.m.

This is just outside of Jared Jewelry near Eastland Mall.

One onlooker said traffic was backed up on the Lloyd Expressway.

Officials said the motorcyclist was hospitalized for non-life-threatening injuries.

The scene of the accident has now been cleared and the road has been reopened.
