Beauty In Black Season 1 Ending Explained

Beauty in black is the latest project Tyler Perry has created as part of his multi-year first-look deal with Netflix. Kimmie is desperate to escape the seedy underworld of the strip club where she works, while Mallory's empire is threatened by family secrets and a troublesome lawyer. These concurrent storylines lead to a series of shocking twists in the finale: Season 1, Episode 8, “Killing Karma.”

The Beauty in black The season 1 finale begins explosively as a group of masked gunmen hold Kimmie and Angel hostage while they attempt to rob Horace's safe. When Kimmie explains that Jules is her pimp and that he put a corrupt judge on his payroll in order to drop her criminal charges, Horace decides to let her go. Horace tells them to leave and not to tell anyone that they met him. When they mentioned the judge, he realized he had much bigger problems to worry about. He later mentions Harold Wiscollins, a judge he and his brother used to know, and asks Jules if Harold is still on the bench and if he still talks to him. Jules says he doesn't, but Horace doesn't trust him.

Through Beauty in black In Season 1, Mallory slept with her driver, Calvin. But When he confesses that he is in love with her, she is hesitant to face her romantic feelings for him and throws him out of her house. She is an elitist person doesn't want to take her relationship with Calvin seriously because he's a chauffeur. Jules concludes that the people who delivered the safe came back to rob it. However, Jules never shows Horace the business card, so he might make up for it to cover up his own role in the planned robbery.

Lena is a lawyer whose discoveries about Mallory's hair care empire could cause trouble for the Bellarie family and bring the company down. In the season 1 finale, Roy meets Lena in a restaurant and offers her a job in the legal department. Mallory then confronts her, gets a chair, uses her connections to force Roy to leave the building, and makes the same offer to Lena. When Lena tells her that Roy just offered her the same job, Mallory seems genuinely impressed that her normally dim-witted brother-in-law came up with the same diabolical plan as her.

In the last episode, Charles' car was shot on the side of the road and blown up by a group of masked gunmen. These masked attackers looked like the same group that had attempted to rob Horace, who had apparently been hired by Julesso everything could be linked back to Jules.

Body reveals that she had Kimmie's teenage sister Sylvia kidnapped, which she will use to blackmail Kimmie into avoiding her and doing whatever she wants. However, The plan backfires when Kimmie simply attacks Body and starts beating her up.
