Sean “Diddy” Combs invites 12-year-old Daveigh Chase to party in an old video

A resurfaced video of Sean “Diddy” Combs inviting a child actress to a party has gone viral following allegations that the embattled music mogul had committed sexual misconduct with minors.

The clip shows the “I Need a Girl” rapper, then 33, asking then-12-year-old Daveigh Chase backstage at the 2003 MTV Movie Awards, “Are you coming to the afterparty tonight?” as he approaches her , while holding a drink to his mouth.

The young girl then nods yes, causing Combs – who was known at the time for throwing wild and lavish Hollywood parties – to laugh mischievously and say, “Yes!”

The pair had apparently met earlier in the night when the Bad Boy Records founder and Ashton Kutcher presented Chase with the best villain award for her role as Samara in the hit horror film The Ring.

As Chase went upstairs to accept her award during the live show, Kutcher — who once hinted at knowing secrets about the party-loving Combs — leaned toward the teen to tell her she was “doing so well.” and patted her arms gently. The “Last Night” rapper then told her at the podium: “Take your time.”

The then-25-year-old “That's '70s Show” alum was also backstage when Combs extended the party invitation, as it apparently took place right after the awards show, but he just laughed at his co-host's comments.

“Diddy made this all public, imagine what happened behind closed doors. I hope they lock him up for life!” One person commented on X-Tuesday after seeing the video.

Another social media user added: “Damn, it’s obvious in hindsight. Poor children had no chance. His joy is repulsive.”

The “Coming Home” rapper, now 54, has taken this route before due to his recent legal troubles, as several clips of him with a young Justin Bieber have also resurfaced online, raising new questions and concerns.

Page Six also reached out to a representative for Kutcher but did not immediately receive a response. Chase, now 34, did not respond to our request for comment or comment on the matter online.

However, the “Donnie Darko” star has kept a low profile on social media in recent years. She shared her last post on Instagram in 2017.

That same year, Chase had a run-in with the law when she was arrested for riding in a stolen car. The following year, the “Lilo & Stitch” voice actress was charged with drug possession.

Combs' legal problems, meanwhile, are much more serious, as he faces charges of sex trafficking, extortion, fraud or coercion and transportation for prostitution following his arrest last month.

The father of seven also faces numerous civil lawsuits alleging sexual assault against 120 alleged victims, including 25 minors. One of the defendants was just 9 years old at the time of the crime.

In a complaint filed this week, Combs and another unnamed male celebrity were accused of raping a 13-year-old girl in front of a famous adult woman after the 2000 MTV Video Music Awards.

The identities of the other two stars and the teenager were not included in the files.

Combs' team has called for the names of the alleged victims to be released so the “It's All About the Benjamins” rapper can defend himself against the allegations during his trial, which begins in May 2025.

Combs – who has denied any wrongdoing in all proceedings against him – is currently being held at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, NY.

If convicted, he faces a minimum of 15 years in prison or a maximum sentence of life in prison.
